NEW YORK -- Justin Turner rapped out three extra-base hits against his old team and rookie Ian Thomas thrived in Zack Greinke's absence on Friday night at Citi Field, as the Dodgers scored a 7-2 victory over a Mets club waiting for its offense to arrive.
Turner, who played for the Mets from 2010-13, doubled home a run in the first inning and hit a solo homer in the third to pace the Dodgers, who throttled Jon Niese for six runs in three innings. Yasiel Puig also highlighted the attack with a two-run homer.
