Thursday night saw lots of offense among Dodgers minor league affiliates, and some standout performances both at the plate and on the mound from many of the names you might have seen in recent trade rumors.
Catcher Keibert Ruiz broke out for the Drillers against Northwest Arkansas with two home runs and a double, driving in four runs in Tulsa’s 14-3 road shellacking. Ruiz also walked, but the hits were a welcome sight for the switch-hitter who was 18 for his last 102, hitting just .176/.257/.245 in his previous 29 games before Thursday night.
