LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers have been heavy on minor league rehab assignments of late, and that will continue through the weekend, with several pitchers at various stages in the process.
Paco Rodriguez will start on Wednesday night for Class-A Rancho Cucamonga, and is expected to throw an inning or so. This is the second rehab game with the Quakes or Rodriguez, who last pitched for the Dodgers on May 29, on the DL with a left elbow strain.
Pedro Baez, on the shelf with a strained right pectoral muscle since May 13, will begin his rehab assignment on Friday with Triple-A Oklahoma City, who will be hosting Memphis.
