PEORIA, Ariz. -- Scott Kazmir insisted he's healthy. Over and over again.
He was removed an inning early from his start on Saturday -- a 7-6 loss to the Mariners -- and seen twisting and turning in the dugout as if confirming discomfort from an abdominal muscle. He reluctantly conceded he felt something, but passed all the medical tests and vowed to make his next start in five days.
"It was one of those things, everything was going great and just something where I felt good to go back out there, but the guys made the decision to shut it down as precautionary," said Kazmir.
