With the Dodgers in need of a starting pitcher or two, several of the big-name pitchers on the free-agent market have been linked to Los Angeles, including Jacob deGrom, Justin Verlander, and Kodai Senga. Each has pros and cons, but L.A. is likely to be at least somewhat involved in the bidding for all of them.
MLB insider Jon Heyman was on the radio in Chicago on Tuesday, and he lists the Dodgers as one of five teams likely to be in on Verlander.
