LOS ANGELES -- Justin Turner was 1-for-4 with a hit by pitch in the Dodgers' Game 5 loss to the Cubs on Thursday night, and set a franchise record by reaching base in his 15th consecutive postseason game.
Turner singled in the third inning, and actually stole second base instead of just dancing, then was hit by a pitch and scored in the eighth. So far this postseason, Turner is hitting .313/.488/.563 with two home runs and eight RBI.
His 15-game streak includes the 2015 NLDS as well, and encapulates every postseason start of Turner's career. he was 0-for-2 in two pinch-hit appearances in the 2014 NLDS.
