The Dodgers faced a busy news morning, but didn’t follow it up with a busy enough offense, falling to Arizona, 10-4.
Adam Jones took Dennis Santana deep with a leadoff home run, but he quickly turned the inning around by striking out the next three batters.
The second inning was a little shaky for Santana, when he gave up a bases-loaded single to Jones to make the score 3-0.
Santana replaced Tony Gonsolin as the starter on Friday afternoon and would exit the game after the third inning, allowing a total of three hits, three earned runs and earning five strikeouts in the loss.
