Justin Turner expected to return from staph infection Thursday or Friday

LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner is back at Dodger Stadium and went through a bevy of workouts on Wednesday, his first full day back with the club, and will be activated fro the disabled list on Thursday or Friday after missing over two weeks with a staph infection in his leg.

What started as an ingrown hair on his thigh became a potentially dangerous infection. It was first noticed when the Dodgers were in New York to play the Mets. Turner was given antibiotics but when they didn't help he went to the emergency room on Tuesday, July 28 once the Dodgers were back home.
