Jumping to Conclusions is Not an Olympic Sport

I admit that I jumped to conclusions when I heard that the Dodgers had signed Shohei Ohtani for $700 Million. I thought that was insane. It turned out that I had Myopia! In case you don’t know the meaning of myopia, here it is:

Yep, I had no clue what his contract would be. No clue! It turns out that I lacked Vision, Foresight, and Intellectual Insight. The Ohtani signing by the Dodgers was a once-in-a-lifetime thing, and I never saw it coming.
