Dodgers top pitching prospect Julio Urias made one of his finest starts as a professional on Wednesday morning, throwing six no-hit innings for Triple-A Oklahoma City against the New Orleans Zephyrs, a Marlins' affiliate.
Oklahoma City took a combined no-hitter into the ninth inning, but a leadoff single by Aaron Nola ended the bid for what would have been OKC's first combined no-no. Oklahoma City also lost a combined no-hitter with nobody out in the ninth inning on April 9 against Nashville.
OKC settled for a 5-0, one-hit victory.
Urias struck out six and faced the minimum 18 batters in his six innings, walking none.
