The Los Angeles Dodgers announced their 2020 non-roster invitees to Spring Training, with the group comprised of nine pitchers, three catchers, five infielders and four outfielders. The 21 non-roster invitees features a bevy of top prospects, headlined by Josiah Gray and Jeter Downs.
Both players were acquired as part of last winter’s trade that sent Kyle Farmer, Matt Kemp, Yasiel Puig and Alex Wood to the Cincinnati Reds. Downs began the 2019 season with High-A Rancho Cucamonga and earned a promotion to Double-A Tulsa.
Gray followed a similar path, beginning his campaign with Low-A Great Lakes before joining the Quakes and finishing the season with the Drillers.
