Dodgers outfielder Josh Reddick jammed his right middle finger and was scratched from the starting lineup in Monday morning’s series finale against the Reds in Cincinnati.
Andrew Toles will now start in right field, batting seventh. The original lineup had Reddick batting sixth. Howie Kendrick, starting in left field, moved up one spot.
Reddick has struggled since joining the Dodgers, going 10-for-66 (.152) with a double and five walks. On the road trip the left-hander is 2-for-21 (.095) with no extra-base hits.
Justin Turner is also out of the lineup on Monday, getting a day off before the Dodgers’ series with the Giants beginning Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium.
