Another potential member of the Dodgers coaching staff has been revealed, with former major league catcher Josh Bard expected to join the staff, perhaps as bullpen coach per Jon Morosi of Fox Sports.
The possibility of Bard joining the coaching staff was first floated by J.P. Hoornstra of the LA Daily News during the winter meetings on Dec. 7.
Bard, who turns 38 in March, has worked in the Dodgers organization the last three years, including 2013 as a special assistant to general manager Ned Colletti in player personnel, followed by a move into professional scouting for 2014-2015.
