LOS ANGELES — Lost in the numbers of Cody Bellinger, another Dodgers outfielder has been putting together an All-Star caliber season.
Entering Tuesday’s game, Joc Pederson is arguably one of the best hitters in the National League, and his numbers can back it up. Currently, he’s top five in the NL in home runs (15) and slugging percentage (.637) and has the seventh-highest OPS (1.013).
“He’s as good as anybody right now”, manager Dave Roberts said.
He’s right. Over the last two weeks, Pederson has been one of the hottest hitters in the game.
