Joc Pederson gets a rare start against a left-handed pitcher in the Dodgers' interleague series finale against the Rays on Wednesday afternoon at Dodger Stadium.
Pederson bats seventh in center field against Matt Moore of the Rays, just the third time in 24 games against left-handed pitching in 2016 that Pederson has started. One of Pederson's previous two starts against a southpaw was on May 3 against Moore, against whom he hit a home run.
On the season, Pederson is 4-for-29 against left-handed pitching, hitting .138/.212/.276.
