Jimmy Rollins played the first 15 years of his career with the Philadelphia Phillies before being traded to the Dodgers in the off-season.
In his first crack at his former team Monday, Rollins stroked a tie-breaking, two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning off relief pitcher Jeanmar Gomez to lift the Dodgers to a 10-7 victory over the Phillies before 45,180 at Dodger Stadium.
Gomez (0-2) got the loss.
The Dodgers (47-37) moved back to 10 games over .500. More importantly, they built their first-place lead over the Giants in the NL West to five games.
