There were three wins and three losses for the Dodger minor league affiliates. The Raptors may have had the game of the year with their 20-19 walk-off win.
The Dodgers announced signing Ronny Brito, a 16-year old shortstop out of the Dominican Republic, on July 2, 2015 for reportedly $2 million. Josh Byrnes, senior vice president of baseball operations said at that time, “Brito has a real chance [to remain at shortstop]. He’s a nice combination of tools and skills, to be able to play short and swing the bat.”
Brito played in the Dominican Summer League in 2016 and in 2017, he split time at both the AZL Dodgers and Ogden.
