SEATTLE -- Closer Kenley Jansen had another aggressive throwing session on Friday with no issues from the irregular heartbeat that put him on the disabled list. He said he's hopeful to be cleared to resume pitching during a Monday follow-up exam, and manager Dave Roberts said as soon as Jansen is cleared, he will resume closing games.
"I hope they say, 'Great. You're ready to go,'" said Jansen. "That's what my fingers are crossed [for] Monday so I can get back in the race and help us go where we went to go. Monday is the big day.
