With pitchers and catchers reporting to camps for the start of Spring Training, the San Francisco Giants officially signed Jake McGee to a two-year, $7 million contract. His deal also includes a team option for the 2023 season.
McGee was among the seven Los Angeles Dodgers who became a free agent the morning after the World Series concluded. Of those, five went on to sign with a new team this past offseason. McGee and Alex Wood are remaining teammates with the Giants.
The Dodgers signed McGee last July after he was released by the Colorado Rockies.
