It’s Time to See if Alex Can Handle a Little Short
- Look, it’s clear, that Justin Turner is no SS – he can spell someone there in a blowout, but that’s it. Jimmy Rollins is a very, very good SS, but he’s hitting his weight. I am not advocating giving Guerrero the job, but let’s see what he can do. Sit Jimmy for a game and let’s see Alex’s leather. I have no reason to believe that he can or can’t man the position in a journeyman fashion. I think we should find out. Is that too much to ask, Donnie? That’s all!
