Injuries beginning to nag at Dodgers' projected Opening Day lineup

GLENDALE, Ariz. >> The same injury bug that ravaged the Dodgers’ starting rotation has turned its attention to the club’s projected starting lineup.

Now, outfielder Andre Ethier and catcher Yasmani Grandal won’t see any game action for at least the next two days, and maybe longer. Ethier was scheduled to undergo further tests on his right shin bone Monday. Diagnosed with a contusion Friday when he fouled a baseball off his leg, Ethier will need more than an x-ray to rule out the possibility of a fracture.

“He just is not feeling well,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said of Ethier after a 6-3 loss to the Seattle Mariners at Camelback Ranch.
