GLENDALE, Ariz. -- New Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said on Thursday morning before his club opened practice at Camelback Ranch that infielder Alex Guerrero (left knee contusion) is a little further ahead than his other wounded teammates, Howie Kendrick (groin) and Justin Turner (recovery from left knee surgery).
"I think we will see Alex first," said Roberts, when asked about the progression of the trio and the injuries.
Guerrero injured the knee sliding into the plate during a Cactus League game on Saturday.
"He's taking batting practice, taking grounders, but as far as our comfort level of him playing in a Major League game, we're not there yet," Roberts said.
