Andrew Friedman and Farhan Zaidi (“FAZ”) have built a pretty impressive organization… and while some of their moves are questioned by many, I have generally been in agreement with what that have done, even their failures, because I understood the rationale behind even failed decisions. You can’t be right all the time, and I understand that. However, I am in disagreement with one major thing and that involves starting pitchers. I just do not agree with letting someone start who obviously lacks the concentration or pitching repitoire requisite to such applications.
In particular, I have a problem with the handling of the following pitchers, and I will tell you why:
- Yadier Alvarez – Maybe he has ADHD.
