One of the more exciting signings of late has been the Dodgers inking Korean pitching prospect Hyun-Suk Jang to a contract. After reports swirled for weeks, the sides came to an agreement.
He was recently introduced as a member of the Dodgers and spoke about his outlook for the future.
“I want to follow the footsteps steps (of Chan-ho Park and Hyun-jin Ryu) and become a starting pitcher for the Dodgers.”
The 19-year-old prospect has a ton of upside and already throws 97 mph. He has a mix of pitches that include a fastball, sweeper, curveball, changeup and slider.
