PHOENIX -- Dodgers pitcher Hyun-jin Ryu came out of his 20-pitch bullpen session on Monday feeling fine, with no ill effects on his surgically repaired left shoulder, but a realistic view of his timetable has his eventual return to the team pushed back even further.
Manager Dave Roberts said on Wednesday that Ryu is not expected to pitch in a Cactus League game while the Dodgers are in Arizona, which makes sense because there are only two weeks left at Camelback Ranch and Ryu threw only fastballs on Monday, and reduced intensity at that.
