One of the few bright spots in a dismal start to the Dodgers’ 2018 season is the latest on the team to suffer an injury. Hyun-jin Ryu left Wednesday night’s game in the second inning with a left groin strain.
Ryu got ahead of Deven Marrero 0-2 in the second inning but on the second pitch Ryu’s right leg buckled as he landed on his delivery. That prompted a visit from trainer Nate Lucero and manager Dave Roberts, and an immediate exit from the game.
With his 1u2153 scoreless innings on Wednesday, Ryu sports a staff-leading 2.
