LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers starting pitcher Rich Hill left Sunday's start against the Reds with an apparent left middle finger injury.
Hill retired Jose Peraza on a fly ball to deep center field for the second out in the top of the sixth inning with the Dodgers trailing, 3-1. Manager Dave Roberts and a trainer came to the mound, Hill touched his middle finger and immediately left the game.
Hill has had chronic issues with the finger since his acquisition from the A's, while on the disabled list, in 2016.
