Hector Olivera reaches base twice in first rehab game with AZL Dodgers

The Dodgers had a pair of rainouts in Oklahoma on Tuesday, but most of the focus was in Arizona, with the $62.5 million man beginning a rehab assignment.

Hector Olivera began his road back from a hamstring injury with a minor league rehab game with the rookie-level Arizona League Dodgers. Olivera was 1-for-3 with a walk and a single, and scored two runs as the designated hitter. It was his first game action since straining the hamstring with Triple-A Oklahoma City on June 20.

OKC was rained out at home against the Omaha Storm Chasers (Royals), a game that will be made up as part of a doubleheader on July 21 in Omaha.
