LOS ANGELES -- After attempting to chase down Cubs slugger Kris Bryant's broken-bat bloop single in the first inning on Sunday at Dodger Stadium, Dodgers left fielder Franklin Gutierrez exited the game with a possible injury.
The club did not immediately announce a reason for the removal.
Gutierrez appeared to pull up on Bryant's single as it dropped in the outfield. The ball seemed very catchable, and Statcast™ data backed that up, giving it an 84 percent catch probability.
Yasiel Puig pinch-hit for Gutierrez in the bottom of the inning.
