Guerrero exits in third inning with calf strain

PHOENIX -- Dodgers utility man Alex Guerrero left Friday night's 12-4 loss to the D-backs after sustaining a strained left calf muscle.

Guerrero, pinch-hitting in the top of the third inning, legged out an infield single for the Dodgers' first hit. But as he hit the bag, he reached down and grabbed behind his leg with his left hand. He was removed for pinch-runner Jimmy Rollins, who did not start because of a sprained finger suffered Sunday, while running the bases.
