LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Sunday that he expects catcher Yasmani Grandal to appear in two or three Minor League games as Grandal works to return from a concussion.
"I was talking to him yesterday and he was working out and he feels good," Mattingly said. "I think he felt like he could've kept going but we wanted to err on the side of caution with him."
Grandal was placed on the seven-day concussion list Saturday.
Mattingly said he wasn't sure when Grandal would be cleared to play, or even where his potential rehab stint would be, but he was confident the catcher could return as soon as he was eligible to come off the disabled list.
