Grandal exits due to left hand contusion

LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal exited with one out in the seventh inning against the Royals on Saturday with a left hand contusion, the club announced.

Grandal smashed his bat on the ground in the sixth after a popout against Royals starter Ian Kennedy. Grandal, who was 1-for-3 with a double, was replaced behind the plate by backup Austin Barnes.
