As SoSG regular karen points out, this upcoming "weekend" series makes no sense. A by-product of the horrible "balanced" schedule (in its second year), the Dodgers now face their crosstown rivals for only four games a season--which, in addition to sharply reducing the number of games against divisional rivals, allows the Dodgers to smush in games against the other 10 AL teams we wouldn't have seen that year (as the interleague divisional play rotated).
I hate this. And I'm not even a fan of having to play the Angels.
