WASHINGTON – Mother Nature made the decision for them.
A steady but persistent rain prompted Major League Baseball to postpone Saturday’s Game 2 between the Dodgers and Washington Nationals an hour before its scheduled start time – although the rain had stopped by 4:30 local time (less than 30 minutes after first pitch). The National League Division Series game will be played Sunday at 10 a.m. PT with the same scheduled starting pitchers – Rich Hill for the Dodgers and Tanner Roark for the Nationals.
The rest of the series remains unchanged with Game 3 still scheduled for Monday at 1 p.
