WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Dodgers reached agreement with their first-round pick in this year's draft, Vanderbilt right-hander Walker Buehler, before the 5 p.m. ET deadline Friday.
They did not reach agreement with their next pick, right-hander Kyle Funkhouser. Funkhouser was taken 35th overall as a compensation pick. Funkhouser announced that he will be returning to the University of Louisville for his senior season.
The Dodgers will receive the 36th pick in next year's draft as compensation.
