MILWAUKEE -- David Freese got the Dodgers off to a quick start in their quest to return to their second World Series in as many seasons, driving an opposite-field homer to lead off Game 6 of the National League Championship Series against the Brewers on Friday night at Miller Park.
Freese, best known for his history of clutch postseason hits, hit a first-inning homer in the clinching Game 6 of the 2011 NLCS as a member of the Cardinals -- against the Brewers at Miller Park.
Later that postseason, Freese helped the Cardinals defeat the Rangers in the World Series with a ninth-inning triple to tie Game 6 and a walk-off homer in extras.
