Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman has been scratched from the Dodgers’ lineup for their series opener against the Astros in Houston. He’s headed home to be with his family as his son, Maximus, deals with health issues.
Freeman’s wife, Chelsea, posted on her Instagram story earlier this week that their son, Maximus, was dealing with a health issue that kept them in the emergency room until 3:30 a.m earlier this week. While Freeman was scheduled to play on Friday and traveled with the team to Houston, he’s now heading back home.
