Freddie Freeman is Unsure Why Dodgers Have Struggled on the Road

The Los Angeles Dodgers are very happy to finally be home. After a six-game road trip in Cincinnati and Philadelphia that saw them go 2-4, the Dodgers fell to 37-29 on the year, 3.5 games back of the first place Arizona Diamondbacks.

The struggles on this past road trip were nothing new, though. At the end of May, the Dodgers endured a 4-6 road trip courtesy of the St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves and Tampa Bay Rays. On the year, the Dodgers having a losing record on the road, with 17 wins and 19 losses.

After the team’s most recent 7-3 loss to the Phillies that ended the losing road trip, Freddie Freeman was asked for a reason for the Dodgers’ struggles on the road.
