LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers placed infielder Logan Forsythe on the 10-day disabled list on Sunday with right shoulder inflammation and recalled infielder Breyvic Valera from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Forsythe was removed from Saturday night's 9-1 loss to the D-backs at the top of the sixth inning when he experienced soreness making throws to first base.
Forsythe, expected to be the Dodgers' primary second baseman entering the season, instead has been making longer throws playing third base after the broken left wrist suffered by Justin Turner on March 19.
