The Kansas City Royals signed free agent second baseman Cavan Biggio to a minor league contract on Sunday. Biggio, who will turn 30 in April, was assigned to the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers.

Biggio jumped around to four different franchises throughout the 2024 season. He made stints with the Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, and Atlanta Braves. However, he only made MLB appearances with three teams.
