Former Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Rich Hill is looking to sign with a team for the rest of the season after taking the first half off to be with his family and coach his son’s Little League team.
Hill reportedly threw for interested clubs on Friday Champion Physical Therapy and Performance in Waltham, Mass. He has reportedly received interest from the Dodgers, New York Yankees, Boston Red Sox, and Minnesota Twins.
The veteran attempted to set up his schedule like this ahead of the 2023 season but didn’t follow through. He ended up signing with the Pittsburgh Pirates on a one-year, $8 million deal.
