Former Dodgers GM Ned Colletti a candidate for Arizona Diamondbacks' vacancy

Dodgers special advisor Ned Colletti is among a growing list of candidates for the Arizona Diamondbacks’ general manager vacancy, according to multiple sources.

Colletti, 62, has served in his current role since October 2014, when Andrew Friedman was named president of baseball operations. He was the Dodgers’ general manager from November 2005 until 2014, a nine-year run that saw the club win four division titles, reach the playoffs five times, and win no fewer than 80 games in a season.

Other candidates linked to the Arizona job include former Dodgers executive Kim Ng, current Diamondbacks assistant general manager Bryan Minniti and farm director Mike Bell, Brewers vice president of scouting Ray Montgomery and Major League Baseball executive Peter Woodfork.
