Former Dodgers pitcher Noah Syndergaard made his first start with his new team, the Cleveland Guardians, on Monday, and did well before an earlier-than-expected exit.
The former All-Star pitcher ended up in Cleveland after a one-for-one trade between him and Amed Rosario occurred earlier in the week before the trade deadline.
Syndergaard joined the Dodgers roster this season looking to revamp his career after some injury setbacks. The 30-year-old pitcher only pitched 55.1 innings for Los Angeles dealing with injury and a lack of put-away stuff in his outings he managed a poor 1-4 record in 12 starts with a disappointing 7.
