Just one month after being traded away from the Los Angeles Dodgers, former LA pitcher Noah Syndergaard has been designated for assignment by the Cleveland Guardians. He was traded for infielder Amed Rosario before the trade deadline.
His struggles continued with Cleveland, posting an ERA of 5.40 over six games. The team decided that it wasn’t worth keeping him down the stretch of the season.
During his time with the Dodgers, he was one of the worst pitchers in the league. He posted an ERA of 7.16 and was ultimately placed on the injured list with a blister issue.
