Old friend and former Dodger All-Star Justin Turner is back healthy and on the field after a scary incident earlier this month. The new Red Sox infielder got hit in the face by a fastball two weeks ago and walked off the field dazed and bleeding. He was rushed to a local hospital where he came out with the best case scenario only requiring stitches and rest.
On Monday, JT returned to the Boston lineup and promptly got a base hit to right field. After the game, he expressed his appreciation to the Red Sox and to fans for their concern and words of encouragement.
