IRVINE A 22-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Friday in Irvine.
The collision at Bake Parkway and Rockfield Boulevard was reported at 5:15 a.m., said Irvine police Lt. Patrick Hurtado.
A Hyundai driven by Lauren Nemcek, 22, of Foothill Ranch, collided with a 2015 Toyota RAV4 operated by a woman who was transported by ambulance to a hospital with minor injuries, Hurtado said. Nemcek died at the scene of the crash.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Detective Jonathan Cherney at 949-724-7024.
