Final: Mets rough up Zach Lee in MLB debut, rout Dodgers 15-2

NEW YORK – Right-hander Zach Lee’s major-league debut was not something he will want to relive.

The 2010 first-round pick allowed four runs in the first inning and was gone by the end of the fifth as the New York Mets routed the Dodgers 15-2 Saturday night at Citi Field.

The first four major-league batters Lee faced all reached base (a walk and three consecutive singles) and came around to score. By the time Lee was pulled with two outs in the fifth inning, he had allowed 11 hits – including three doubles and a solo home run by newly-acquired Kelly Johnson.
