LOS ANGELES – After going 23 months between major-league starts and twice rehabbing from Tommy John surgeries, Brandon Beachy should be familiar with the concept of delayed gratification.

Beachy returned to a big-league mound Saturday night but he will have to wait to celebrate more than that. The Milwaukee Brewers tagged him for three runs in third inning and Beachy was done after four innings as the Dodgers lost 7-1 Saturday night.
