Final: Dodgers' offense makes up for Zack Greinke's off day in 10-8 win over Phillies

Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke rounds the bases past Phillies second baseman Cesar Hernandez after hitting a home run during the third inning Thursday.

PHILADELPHIA – Right-hander Zack Greinke allowed five runs before he retired a batter Thursday afternoon. But the Dodgers’ offense – including Greinke himself – made up for it in a 10-8 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.

Greinke settled down after the rough start and allowed just one more run over six innings. Still, the six earned runs were the most allowed by Greinke in a start as a Dodger and matched the total for his previous nine starts – a stretch that included his 45 2/3-inning scoreless streak.
