PITCHING REPORT: Scott Kazmir gave up hits to three of the first six batters he faced but then “figured something out” in his delivery and retired 10 of the next 12. But he left the game after only 70 pitches and four innings due to a minor abdominal issue. Kazmir insisted he is fine and will make his final spring start as scheduled (March 31 in Los Angeles against the Angels).
